Our thoughts:
Blood Feast is a movie that anyone who likes gore in films should see, because this is where it all started. There might have been gore and blood in other movies before this, but I believe Blood Feast is the first so called gorefest.

It's a very entertaining movie, most of the time it had me glued. I think the runtime of 67 minutes helps alot on that part. I don't know if the movie was meant to be funny, but it had me laughing out loud a few times. Like Fuad Ramses' hair and eyebrow color. It's just so silly but still brilliant. There is also some awesome looking gore in it, so for those of you who expect it to look bad just because it's old are very very wrong. I am not saying that it looks so realistic that I question if it's fake, you will see that it's fake. But it looks cool, it fits the movie, and it's alot better compared to the gore in many other movies.

The acting is very cheesy, but when you're going to see a H.G Lewis movie, you pretty much know what you are getting. The girl actors are expecially bad, but hey, Connie Mason's in it!

It's gory, it's a part of movie history, and it's very funny, so check it out if you like anything along the lines of that. It's not for mainstream-only viewers, obviously.

The DVD I watched was Something Weird Video's release, and I recommend it to anyone who plans on buying it.

Positive things:
- Mal Arnold's hilarious acting.
- Gore, gore, gore!
- The runtime.
- The movie got Herschell Gordon Lewis into making these kinds of movies.
- The introduction scene.
Negative things:
- No nudity.
- Didn't get a sequel until 39 years after.
- The fact that there aren't any other negative things about this movie, is a negative thing for me when writing this review.

Rating:
Gore: 3/5
Nudity: 0/5
Story: 3/5
Effects: 3/5
Comedy: 2/5
