Helga, a woman who runs a strict prison camp, forces her female prisoners into slave labor and to be love toys for her own personal pleasure, as well as for her soldiers. Issuing torture and whippings to anyone who dares defy her, man or woman.
With a name like "She Wolf of Spielberg" it doesn't take much to know what movie they are trying to emulate, or what you'll be getting out of said movie. Granted, the naziploitation genre has never been known for its originality but here, the movie really does try hard to be the next Ilsa. The movie tries to make small changes, as a way to hide the fact that it is a knock-off flick, such as instead of it being a concentration camp, like it usually is in naziploitation movies. The women are instead locked up in a prison/work-camp facility, so it still maintains the usual women-in-prison theme.
There are other changes that were made but still just as obvious, for instance, having the military group run by Helga not be nazi's. Actually I'm not quite sure what they are suppose to be, but it isn't hard to figure out where they are drawing their inspiration from. As the soldiers all wear a red arm band on their left arm, that has the symbol that represents their military, government, belief or whatever the hell it's suppose to be. The character Helga is as cliched as the rest of the movie, she makes certain prisoners her love slaves and also allows the soldiers to have their way with the women too.
Just more of the same-old, same-old of what we have all seen from these genre flicks. Though "She Wolf of Spielberg" is one that is scrapping the bottom of the barrel as the story is poorly thrown together and often times is nonsensical. It is never explained as to why Helga runs her prison or why her work force is all women (other than the fact that everyone refers to her as being a power hungry bitch.), then again it doesn't matter much. Since most of the movie is filled up with women walking around naked, lesbian heavy petting, and the occasional whipping. The rest of the movie is Helga walking around angry and doing what she can to gain power, and a small group of rebels that is fighting against the government. Though much like everything else in the movie, it isn't really explained why, they just do.
If you've watched any other naziploitation or WIP movies, then you know how "She Wolf of Spielberg" is going to play out and end. The whipping scenes are done fairly well, but everything else is pretty ho-hum, even the nudity and sex scenes aren't anything worth while. Really only worth grabbing if you're a collector of obscure exploitation flicks.
