Title: Make Satan Cum

Also known as:
A Nun Goes To The Devil (Dutch title)

Year: 2010

Genre: Short / Experimental / Nunsploitation / Adult

Language: English

Runtime: 6 min

Director: Erik Zijlstra

Writer: Erik Zijlstra

IMDb: N/A

Plot:
A nun goes on to tell us that she wants to grow up as a good girl but go to hell when she dies. We then see her pleasure herself in the name of Satan.

Our thoughts:
What happened between the director's debut film, "Dreamvisitor", and this film? "Dreamvisitor" was a really interesting and psychological experimental film that showed alot of potential from the filmmaker. But now all of the sudden he makes a cheesy porn short? Granted, it's not a shock since he apparently also made the first dutch porno not long ago, but to me this was a surprise. "Make Satan Cum" is not at all what I would expect from this director. Any good? Well, read on.

The plot is nothing more than a nun masturbating (in the name of Satan?) while we glimpses of Satan jerking himself off, and then also a few random gore shots here and there. Take this, put it in a blender with the colors blue and red, and finally add bleach. There you have the entire film, pretty much. But it is entertaining, it's well worth 6 minutes of your time.

The few gore scenes we get are actually really cool looking and makes me wish the film would've had more of a plot and been less cheesy. It could still have been a porno, that part doesn't bother me, but it somehow seems like a waste of good effects in here. I also found it weird that the film, with a title like "Make Satan Cum", feels censored. It shows very little graphic stuff. There is a cure though, as the director told me there is a cut with more XXX in it too. And while I can see why someone would prefer this version (Erik himself does), I think the hardcore stuff is needed like never before when the movie basicly is just a cheesy experimental porno.

It's a fun time though, it doesn't take itself seriously and is made heavily to bother people. Especially religious people, of course. Overall, I would've wanted a more serious approach to a film, but I can take this for what it is.

Positive things:
- That cheesy Satan cracks me up.
- The look, feel and colors/contrasts of the film prove that Erik Zijlstra is far from a bad filmmaker.
- Satan doing drugs!
Negative things:
- It won't be a remembered because it's fairly generic, even though it's an odd film.

Rating:
Gore: 1/5
