A journey of sex, curiousity and perversion begins with a woman finding her husband in bed with another woman. She starts hanging out with a cartoonist and together they start a rather destructive relationship involving sex and games.
I was sort of caught by surprise at the depravity in this film. I figured it would just be another one of those erotic tales of a woman who needs a good hump from a total stranger, and pretty much ending it with just them having sex. Instead this movie moved farther than that and even involved pissing and rape. The story is still simple - a man is cheating on a woman, woman seeks new love, woman finds new love. That's the basics. Except the love is a lot more messed up and ends up in violent games between our lead and a cartoonist. Story-wise I had a lot of fun with it, but it was a very mediocre and the acting was so bad that none of the scenes were very effective. Instead it just felt like it moved on a bit too fast and never took time to build the relationship between the two lead characters, which was an important part in this case.
Like I said, the acting was bad, but the version I saw was dubbed so I can't really comment on the voice acting. However, it looked like they over-did it quite a bit and made many scenes cheesy instead of sexy or rough. The women are pretty good looking though, and Without their bodies this movie would've been close to pointless to me. As it should with erotic films, right?
The best part of the movie was by far when the cartoonist talks about a cartoon. The cartoon is about a cock that walks around on his balls. We're taken to a short segment where we actually see the cartoon animated, and it's a whole bunch of cocks walking around when a pair of female legs arrive. Between the legs are a pair of lips, and our main cock jumps into it and starts flying around in what looks like starts. I wasn't expecting such a comedic and odd cartoon in the middle of this mediocre 80's erotica.
The movie is nothing new even though it deals with some depraved things. I didn't really dislike it, but I also don't think it's that good of a movie. In the right mood you might have fun with some parts of it, but overall there are so many other movies that are much more worth checking out that are in the veins of this. "Monamour" would be one I could recommend, even though that wasn't extraordinary either. Just some good ol' smut, for those who like that. It's hard to rate erotica with other films so I suppose you will have to make up your own mind if the movie is worth checking out or not.
I hope to see more of One 7 Movies releases though, as there are a whole bunch of movies that haven't been released on DVD before. Hopefully they will find some gold between all the filth.
