To get his rich relative's heritage, Bo has to prove himself to be a nice and good person, something he hasn't been known as in the past. To do this he uses the family castle to start a school where girls come to learn about morale and ethics. Simply put, to become good people. But this is only for show - once you enter the school you'll be met by happy people in orgies.
Before Mac Ahlberg started working in Hollywood as a cinematographer he directed entertaining pornography in Sweden. "Skandalskolan" (or the equally appropriate US title "The Second Coming of Eva") is more of a pornography than some of his previous films have been but it keeps the overly joyful atmosphere and silliness that makes them comedies more than anything. But sadly it does lack more in terms of a story, and everything literally just works as a gateway to pornography. Unlike a title like the (also-reviewed) "Around the World with Fanny Hill" which is just a fun comedy with some erotica in it.
In "Skandalskolan" we have a man who needs to prove that he is a good man to be able to get his part of a relative's heritage. So he decides to start up a school that will serve as a school for girls to learn manner, morale and ethics. But in reality it's a school for fucking. In every room there's fucking going on, and everyone is free to join in at any time. This becomes a bit of a problem once a lawyer is sent to the school to check up on them, and make sure things are done right. There's a side-plot about one specific girl who is sent to the school by her sister because she touched herself in her sleep, but this isn't really a plot that goes much further than that.
I know, in a porno you can't expect the story to be important, but I have seen many pornos where it's a bigger part of the film than in this one. It would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that I watch these 70's adult films to entertain myself, not to jerk off. It's probably not until half-way into it that this film even becomes remotely funny. A few funny scenes here and there, but overall this is just pornography. Bad pornography? Meh, I don't know. Not worse than any other 70's porn, I guess. We have good looking girls - some very hairy, some less hairy. It is what you think it is.
The most important thing about "Skandalskolan" is that it still is a fun and simple movie. It takes a while for the comedy to kick in, and it's essentially 85% pornography so you can't expect much in that end. I enjoyed it a lot more than Ahlberg's "Nana", but significally less than "Around the World with Fanny Hill". If you want 70's porn that can still entertain, then go ahead. If you want a solid comedy with some erotica, then this isn't the movie for you.
