Plot:
A girl follows a group of pornography filmmakers home to make a video, but things take a nasty turn when they slowly get more and more abusive. The ordinary porn film slowly starts to look more like a snuff film.

Our thoughts:
This is a film in the veins of "Guinea Pig: Flower of Flesh and Blood" that I remember watching way back when I just began checking out weird films that I had never heard of. I was very new to these films, especially the real underground ones (I had seen stuff like "Guinea Pig" and "Cannibal Holocaust", etc). At first watch, I kinda questioned if it was really fake or not, but it didn't take long before I came to my senses.

"Tumbling Doll Of Flesh" (or "Niku Daruma" if you will) starts out as any normal XXX film, and in usual Japan fashion it contains lots of censoring. Something I've never approved of and never will. Censoring porn is pointless. Now that's out of the way; it's the kind of porn where they pick a girl up and take her back home (a kind of porn that is very usual, so you obviously know what I mean.. you perv!). It starts out like it should, but the sex turns to torture. The torture turns to mutilation of her body. Often while being fucked. She's tied to a bed with her arms and legs spread while they chop off her feet. This obviously turns to more and more gore and chopping. We have some gut fucking and other depraved stuff. That's pretty much what's going on. Unless they say something important (there are no subtitles available) that would give it a better plot. I highly doubt it though. If you are just looking for torture and nothing else, than it's a pretty good film considering. The film is a bit too long for me though, as the interesting starts like 45 minutes into the film so there's plenty of time for you to get bored with the film and eventually just skipping forward.

The gore effects are good, but I still have to say that I think the "Guinea Pig" films has more realistic gore than this film. This film is alot more sadistic than "Guinea Pig" though. It's more sadistic than most films even, but that doesn't keep it from becoming pretty boring. I like the film, I do, but I hate waiting 45 minutes for the interesting to kick in. I've seen the film before, and each time I skip to this part. If you are new to gore films, fake-snuff films or extreme films then yes, you are in for a fucked up time for sure.

There isn't much more to say about the film because there's not much more to it. It's a good watch if you want gore and pure sadistic madness. It gets boring from time to time, but it's obviously not a film you watch for the intelligence or the great cinematography. Sex, torture, mutilation, gore.

Positive things:
- Gore!
Negative things:
- Takes too long for it to get good.
- Censored sex.
